Foundation Seeks New Administrative Assistant

The Nashville Area United Methodist Foundation is seeking a person for the position of Administrative Assistant to work with and assist the President of the Foundation in carrying out the mission of the Foundation through administrative support. The full-time position will be vacant March 31, 2008, and the Personnel Committee of the Foundation seeks to have a replacement named by mid-February.

Résumés should indicate experience in technical and organization skills; experience in office operations and business applications; knowledge of computer programs (e.g, word, excel, PGCalc, Crescendo, and/or others); and levels of knowledge and experience in accounting, trusts, and/or investment procedures and policies.

General areas of responsibility will include support to the President of the Foundation and the Board of Directors; providing information and support for Foundation clients; administrative duties for investment records and charitable giving; work with custodial banks and financial advisor; cooperative work with the Administrator of the United Methodist Development Fund; and general office procedures.

Aldersgate Renewal Ministries Looking for a part-time Administrative Assistant

Aldersgate Renewal Ministries (ARM) is looking for a part-tine Administrative Assistant. ARM is an Affiliate of the United Methodist Church General Board of Discipleship through The Upper Room Section. Our office, located in Goodlettsville, has eleven full and part-time employees. The current opening is 24 hours a week with a flexible daily schedule. Starting pay is $10.25 per hour. The position offers paid vacation, holiday, and sick leave.
