Church Accountant III position

Reports to the Administrative Pastor

Regular Duties: Produce regular financial reports and assists WEUMC in accomplishing its financial mission objectives. Maintain accurate records of all accounting transactions, perform payroll duties, attend weekly staff meetings and committee meetings as required. The candidate will perform all accounts payable duties as outlined by the Financial Guidelines of West End United Methodist Church and provide periodic reports to the Council on Ministries and ministry team members. Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Business with Accounting emphasis, experience with ACS software helpful.

Tennessee Conference is Seeking Applications for Executive Director of the historic Beersheba Springs Assembly

The Tennessee Annual Conference is seeking applications for its’ Executive Director for Beersheba Springs Assembly. This camp in the mountains of Middle Tennessee and is an Assembly type camp with a large staff.

The Executive Director should be a growing Christian whose life is committed to Christ and His work and a person of hope and vision. Knowledge of the United Methodist Church is essential. This person should be able to supervise personnel both in hiring and managing all aspects of their employment. They should have the interpersonal skills to work effectively with people of all ages and groups of all sizes. They should have strong experience in design and development of camp programming, knowledge of appropriate curriculum and the marketing of those related programs. College degree with courses in camp related fields or comparable experience required. Certification in United Methodist Camp and Retreat Ministries through the Board of Higher Education of the UMC preferred.
